Ignite hats is a British company, launched in 2002 by Neil – good old Cornish boy – who, after spending as much of his free time snowboarding or surfing, wanted to develop a particular brand of hats and beanies to keep surfers’ noggins warm between breaks and snowboarders’ heads warm in the snow, with the main aim of becoming the hat brand of choice for the Freeride generation starting with old favourites, like Peru, Chunky Stripe Pompom. Ignite has grown very quickly to be a real force in the competitive ski/snowboard hats and beanies market and definitely a brand to be reckoned with.
Each year, this rapidly growing brand comes up with fresh ideas and influences but are strongly committed to not forgetting why they started, where they came from and how to have a good time. They say that if you love the winter mountains, ride summer waves or urban streets and share a passion for life experience, music, travel and good times, then Ignite beanies and hats will appeal to you. Their collections include something to suit everyone’s tastes from Oversize Slouch Beanies like the Big Bertha, Andre and the Hercules, to their Plaidfur Trapper or Bomber, chunky hand knits like the women’s Waffle Beanie, the 4Tune Pompom or the Chunky Stripe Pompom, the good old-skool styling of the Ski School beanie and last but not least, for those of you who know them there are still the well loved stock Peru styles, the No 1 Peru or the New Isle Peru hats, that cover and keep the wind out of your ears.
With an ever strong domestic market here in Europe, plus their first customers in the USA, during 2008 Ignite went from small independent brand, to become part of a leading winter hat and beanie specialist, the US based Bollman Hat Company. Now, working together with an extremely talented team here in Europe & in the USA they can build the needed foundations to ensure Ignite hats and beanies can be found in good stores and stations across every nation…..
It’s not rocket science……
